1. The prescribed application form and prospectus may be obtained on payment of Rs. 250/- at the college office or
by post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- in favour of Shree Bharathi College payable at Mangalore to
the Principal, Shree Bharathi College , Eden Club Road ,Nanthoor, Mangalore 575004.
2. The application form duly filled in and accompanied by true photocopies of the requisite certificates and a
registration fee Rs. 1000/- should reach the college office within 12 days of the results of the qualifying examination.
3. The amount paid towards the application form, prospectus and the registration are not refundable.
4. Registration doesn’t guarantee the admission to the college.
5. The following documents should be produced at the time of admission
-SSLC Marks card (Original + 1 Photocopy)
-PUC 11 year Marks card (Original + 1 photocopy)
-Transfer certificate
-Conduct certificate
-Passport size photo-4
Candidates migrating from other States have to apply for the requisite Migrating Certificate to their original Board of Education as soon as they join the college. They also have to obtain the eligibility certificate from Mangalore University. Admission is not complete until Migration Certificate and Eligibility Certificate are obtained.
Candidates provisionally selected will be informed by mail or phone to attend an interview on a specified day in the college. Such candidates shall appear for the interview along with his/ her parent or guardian with the entire relevant original certificates.
The selection is based on the merit and performance of the candidate in the interview. However, the governing body reserves the authority to reject admission, without assigning any reason whatsoever. Candidates, upon final selection, have to pay the fees specified by the Governing Body within the last date specified. Failing to do so, would render the selection void.
The original Transfer Certificate, Marks Cards and other certificate submitted by the students will be retained at the college office as long as the candidates remain as the students of the college. They are requested to make and retain sufficient copies of these certificates if they want before handing over them to the college
Withdrawal after Admission
Any candidates withdrawing from the course for what so ever reason, forfeits all the fees paid.
Rules and Regulations
- Candidates are deemed to have accepted the rules of selection once they submit their application to the college
- Every student is deemed to have accepted the college regulations upon admission to the college.
- All correspondence regarding application, selection and admission should be addressed to the Principal, Shree Bharathi College, Eden Club Road Nanthoor, Mangalore 575004 and a self addressed, stamped envelop should be enclosed therewith for reply from the college office.
- Every student shall abide by the regulation laid by the college from time to time.
- If any incident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned student shall be given liberty to explain and if his/her explanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel him/ her from the institute.
Scholarships and concession
Subject to the satisfactory progress, conduct and attendance and in accordance with the rules set by the Governing Body of the college scholarship and fee concessions will be awarded to deserving candidates.
Free seats: Those who get 90% or above marks in II Pre-university examinations will be given free seat (no college fee ).
